Thursday, July 17, 2003follow your heart, your intuition
oooh. they playing intuition on radio. inspired the "quote" above. anws, ok. just wanted to say again that yesterday was a great day. pple who havent been down to cheer for the nationals should go nxt year. the races are super exciting. i wouldnt mind being a runner there. heh* anws, that wasnt what i wanted to blog. what i really wanted to say was i had another deja vu thingie again. i dreamt myself reading this article on newspaper and it happened today. it was on friday weekly (xing qi wu zhou bao) yepps. i'll translate the story into eng, the best i can. it is kinda sad. well, if you like reading stories then read on. here it goes..
there was this girl who had just turned eighteen and being very beautiful, she had many suitors. the suitors were either rich or v smart but she rejected all of them. why? because in her heart, she already had a person she loved— him.
he loved her too and every week, he would always write a letter expressing his feelings to her. the next day, early in the morning, he would ride his bike to deliver the letter to her personally. he had always wanted to ask her out but was too afraid of rejection. so everytime he handed her the letter, he would just leave.
everytime she received his letter, she would always smile at him. he wasnt sure of what the girl was thinking because she was really difficult to figure out. but what was wrong with that? all he wanted was to see her. see her beauty, her smile, just her..
the girl never replied his letter. even when he sent her the ninety-nine letter, all she did was smile at him.eventually, he boy decided to give up.
years passed and the gal and the guy got married to others. twenty years later, they met and started to reminise about their past. it was then the girl told the guy that many years back she loved him too. he was shocked and asked her "then why didnt you reply my letters?" she told him that she wanted to but she had already decided that she would only reply him after the hundreth letter but the letter never came.
the guy was super shocked and realised that the girl had loved him since the first day he gave her the letter. their love started from a letter and ended from another. twenty years later, she was still waiting for the hundreth letter.
he was v regretful. if only he had perserved and wrote the hundreth letter, they would be together now.
maybe, the luckiest people are those who receives the first and hundreth letter.
yepps. that's my translation. haha. not that good english larhs. (: sweet rights? another article was talking about love also. it asks "why love somebody?" there is no answer. you dont love the person for their good points because you would hate them for their bad points then. the person you love might say "i cant pei shang ni. out there, there are so many better people out there." but do you have any standards for the person you love? no. you accept them for who they are. you chose him. in your eyes, no one is better than him. haiis. guess not everyone understands that. well, the newpaper put me in a mushy mood. heh* wells, there are other articles. translate them here another day. oooh. i lurrve romantic stories. so sweet! >.<
